Our Business
AXGN is an Innovative Internet Solutions and Services Provider which empowers SMEs, Organisations and Individuals alike with the Resources and the Capability to harness the Benefits of the Internet for Business or Lifestyle Activites. We offer a broad spectrum of services from Basic Web Hosting to more Advanced Co-Location or Dedicated Servers and Solutions ranging from Web Design to Web Application Development.

Our History and Future Plans
AXGN was established in 2004. From only a few servers and a handful of customers, AXGN has now it's own network of 30+ servers spread over 3 different Internet Data Centres. Our customer base has grown with several local and international customers from Malaysia, India, China, Europe and the US in various Services from video Streaming to Co-Location and Dedicated Servers.

Looking to the future, we intend to research into a multitude of new technologies and further develop our existing areas of expertise.

AXGN Quality of Service Policy.
We at AXGN believe in bringing you an un-interrupted, hassle free service. In order to achieve this, we observe several strict standard operating procedures when it comes to what customers we host and how our activites are governed. Mentioned below are some of them:

1. Underloading / Contingency Planning
AXGN does not oversell it's service, we take active measures to ensure that our network and servers always have extra avaliable capacity to handle increases in traffic or to deal with any server or network failures. We do this through:

  • Existing Servers and Networks are underloaded to ensure plenty of overhead for sudden bursts of traffic.
  • AXGN constantly improves it's service through regular software and hardware upgrades / overhauls.
  • Data is backed up regularly through several failsafe methods such as RAID, or on a dedicated backup machine on-the-fly, daily, weekly or monthly.
  • Maintaining an in-house stockpile of spare servers and server parts, networking equipment. We do not rely on 3rd party support for our systems.
  • Several different upstream providers and data centre locations to avoid a single point of failure and to add additional redundancy.

  • 2. Customer Management / Montioring
    AXGN provides help to customers to allow them to take full use of the system as well as to actively police the system from unwanted activites. Such examples are:

  • Regular montioring to prevent customers from running any unauthorized applications which may impede / undermine hosting services for other users.
  • Providing customers with free consultation to help them get the best performance and efficiency out of their hosted applications.

  • 3. Service and Sales Support.
    AXGN unlike other webhosting companies, operates around the clock with full sales and support operations. These are:

  • Instant contact using Instant Messaging such as IRC and MSN, Phone / SMS support to provide a live response to the most complex of sales & support enquiries.
  • AXGN personnel are cross trained in both sales and technical areas so as to provide accurate, on-the-spot solutions to new or existing customers.
